Welcome to the world of DISC GOLF.
Throughout this website you will find many reasons why playing DISC GOLF should be a part of your life. If you have never heard of this wonderful sport - believe me - you just found yourself a new past time!!
- Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports in the world with many courses being developed each year. It is a sport which includes a little cardio exercise, social involvement, skill, stamina and yes, even some competition (if you so desire).
- Each course is designed by a local disc golf organization (and parks board) with them being extremely environmentally aware. The courses do not alter the integrity of its park - if anything the park itself is enhanced. Disc golfers enjoy the natural obstacles of trees, shrubs, water and ravines. The more the obstacles, the more challenging the course.
- Acquiring the skills as a new player takes only one question to a local pro: "Can you help me?". Any one of them will be more than willing to oblige.
- The WHOLE family can play this inexpensive sport.
Come along with me to see what I mean....
